Licensed Practical Nurse New

Position Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional care to our patients. The LPN will work under the supervision of Registered Nurses and/or physicians, supporting patient care plans, monitoring health conditions, and ensuring comfort and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide basic bedside care including vital signs, wound care, and medication administration.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and nutritional needs.
• Monitor patients’ health and report any significant changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Administer injections, medications, and IV fluids (as permitted by state law and facility policy).
• Prepare patients for procedures and assist with exams or treatments.
• Document care provided and maintained accurate patient records.
• Educate patients and families on health maintenance and basic care instructions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized patient care environment.
• Support physicians and RNs in coordinating care plans and follow-up.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies, nursing standards, and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license of [State of Illinois].
• BLS/CPR certification required.
